What happens in the first Yoga Therapy session?

To begin with we will discuss what brought you here today, your body and what might be impacting it in your daily life.

We’ll move through some joint warm-ups, more vigorous movements, and then some longer-held postures. Meditation and Breathwork is also an option based on your individual circumstances.

This is about you, your journey, your time.

I am dealing with trauma in my history, is yoga therapy for me?

Trauma-informed yoga and Yoga therapy is right for you. We will always work with you to remain within your comfort zone and boundaries. You will learn to recognize and tolerate physical sensations and thereby regain a feeling of safety inside your body.
